Giving Back
I knew that when I set out to build a handmade business, one thing I had to do was donate a portion of my net proceeds to animal welfare.
I personally donate monthly to the ASPCA as well as other animal rights organizations. However, I knew I could give more through a business. 10% of all my proceeds goes to two different animal welfare agencies. The League for Animal Welfare, a local “No Kill” animal shelter and Angel’s Paws, an in-home end-of-life comfort care. I feel very fortunate that because of my customers, I’m able to donate more every year.
Other ways I’ve been able to give back have been by donating jewelry to various fund raisers for animals, cancer, art organizations, my community historical society and Dress for Success.
So on behalf of myself, all the animals and others who have benefited from these donations I thank you and I’m very grateful.
