All metal butterflies are custom and made-to-order.  These butterfly plant stakes can be used indoors or out.  Or, if you prefer, you can choose from a butterfly magnet, an ornament or shepherd’s hook instead. 

Each handcrafted butterfly is constructed using brass and copper.  Accent pieces like the antennae, eyes and spots are made from Argentium silver.  Altogether she measures 3.5 x 2.25 inches.  The stake itself measures 7 inches.  (If in fact you choose the plant stake option).

Keep in mind that all metal will eventually turn green and/or tarnish.  This happens when exposed to air and moisture.  A thin coating of Renaissance wax has been applied to slow down this process.
