This Yellow Ocean Jasper Necklace is also named The Odessa Necklace.  Statement worthy for sure.

Your eyes are immediately drawn to the pendant.  Vibrant citrine coupled with the yellow jasper is fabulous.  The ocean jasper reminds me of waves rolling onto a beach.  The different shades within the stone are the different levels of the reef. 

Each stone sits nestled within a gold bezel cup.  Equally important is the gold filled plate on which both stones sit.  Not only was the plate hand cut it has been hand pierced to. 

Wood rondels and corrugated gold beads connect the pendant to delicate gold filled chain. 

Two citrine gemstones then connect the chain to the clasp.  Handcrafted as well. 

There is a two inch extender chain adorned with a citrine gemstone, wood rondel and a corrugated gold bead.  The overall length is 18 inches with the pendant adding an additional 1.5 inches.  Also, the extender allows you to add another two inches should you want it longer.

As a result of all the elements coming together, this Yellow Ocean Jasper Necklace is simply marvelous.

• Ocean jasper is believed to be between 63 and 135 million years old, dating back to the Cretaceous period.
• Ocean jasper found near the village of Marovato is often multicolored, while material found near Kabamby is usually green and yellow with some red and cream.
